The TxEIS Asset Management application complies with GASB 34 rulings and allows you to manage capitalized and noncapitalized assets within the TxEIS Business system. You can import purchase order records from the Finance application to update and maintain records of acquisition and form the basis for depreciation calculations.

This application also allows you to track assets that were loaned to other departments/users, monitor operational status, and dispose of assets at the end of their life cycle. The system provides reports and inquiries that are used to manage the capitalized assets and to provide users with inventory reports for auditors to use/review in annual audits of a district's assets and asset management programs.
