1. Inventory records:

• The item number is entered if the Automatic Item Numbering field is selected in the options record.
• The item description is displayed if the Use Catalog Description field is checked in the options record.
• When improvements are made to a capital asset, a new item number and depreciation record should be created for the improvement. The Primary Inven Nbr field allows you to relate the improvement to the original item number.
