Database - Sync Analysis

Database — Sync Analysis

Use this page to review database synchronization issues including missing tables and columns, and altered columns.

Click Select DataSource to open the Select a client to compare pop-up window. Once you are connected to the database, select the following items for review.

Missing Tables
Displays missing tables.

Missing Columns
Displays missing columns.

Altered Columns
Displays altered columns.

Rights

Use this page to create, edit, and delete rights.

Click Add New+ to open the Add/Edit Rights page.

Field	Description
Name	The name of the function or page for which rights are granted.
Description	The description of the function or page.
Edit	Edit the right.
Delete	Delete the right.

Rights/Group Link

The Rights/Groups Link page allows you to create and delete links between rights and groups. A list of all linked rights and groups is displayed in a grid on this page. See the Rights page to add, edit, or delete rights on this page.

Create Links

Use this section to link rights and groups.

Field	Description
Rights	Select one or more rights which you want to link to one or more groups.
Groups	Select one or more groups which you want to link to one or more rights.

Link	Link the displayed rights and groups.
Clear All	Clear all the rights and groups to start over.
Cancel	Cancel and return to the Developer Tools page.
Add Right +	Click to go to the Rights page.
Add Group +	Click to go to the Groups page.

Linked Values

This section lists all of the linked rights and groups.

Field	Description
Group Name	The name of the linked group.
Right Name	The name of the linked right.
Delete	Delete the link between right and group.

Master Settings

Use this page to create, edit, and delete master configuration settings. These are system-wide CareerPortal settings and variables.

Return to Developer Tools You can return to the Developer Tools page at any time by clicking DevelopersTools.

❏ Click Add New+ to open the Add/Edit Configuration Settings pop-up window.

Field	Description
Name	The name of the master configuration setting.
Value	The value of the master configuration setting.
Description	The description of the master configuration setting.
Client	The client (e.g., campus) for the master configuration setting.

Edit	Open the Add/Edit Configuration Settings pop-up window.
Delete	Delete the master configuration setting.

Configuration Settings

Use this page to create, edit, and delete master configuration settings. These are client CareerPortal settings and variables.

Add New+	Open the Add/Edit Configuration Settings pop-up window.
Add Images	Add either a logo or main image that displays on the CareerPortal homepage.

Column	Description
Name	The name of the client configuration setting.
Value	The value of the client configuration setting.
Description	The description of the client configuration setting.

Edit	Open the Add/Edit Configuration Settings pop-up window.
Delete	Delete the client configuration setting.

Groups

Create, edit, and delete groups of users.

Field	Description
Add New+ or Edit	Open the Add/Edit Groups page.
Group Name	The group's name.
Description	The group's description.
Default	*HOW CAN THERE BE MULTIPLE DEFAULTS??*
Delete	Delete the group.

The following groups are available:

Group	Description
Applicant	End User. Anyone who uses the application to search and apply for jobs as well as maintain a personal profile.
Job Poster	This group gives members the ability to post new jobs. Members of this group should also be members of the Managers Group.
Managers	Anyone involved in the hiring process. Posts can be shared with these users, such that they can review applicants that have applied for positions which have been shared with them.
Administrators	Has the same access as a Manager, plus access to some of the Admin Tools.
Super Admin	This group has access to everything.
Developers	Highest level of access. Reserved for Developers only.
