DIND-2 – Directional Indicator - Remote Instruction
Description: Indicates the option that best describes the schools remote instruction setting.

DIND-3 - COVID-related Item – Remote Instruction Amount
Description: Indicates the option that best describes the amount of remote instruction provided by teachers.

DIND-4 COVID-related Item –Remote Instruction Percentage
Description: Indicates the approximate percentage of students who received remote instruction from teachers at any point during the regular 2023–24 school year, not including intersession or summer.




SCHR: School Characteristics

SCHR-1 - Fully Virtual School Indicator
Description: Indicates whether, regardless of the coronavirus pandemic, this school offered only virtual instruction in which students and teachers were separated by time and/or location, and interaction occurred via computers and/or telecommunications technologies during the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

SCHR-2 - Justice Facility Indicator
Description: Indicates whether this entity can be characterized as a justice facility.

SCHR-3 - Grades with Students Enrolled
Description: Indicates whether this school had at least one student enrolled in each grade, K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent).

SCHR-4 - Ungraded Detail
Description: Indicates whether the ungraded school had mainly elementary middle, or high-school age students.

SCHR-5 - School Characteristics
Description: Indicates whether this school can be characterized as one of the following types of school: special education school, magnet school with a magnet program, charter school or alternative school.

PSCH: Preschool Enrollment

PSCH-1 - Preschool Age for Non-IDEA Children
Description: Indicates whether non-IDEA students in each of the specified ages were served in preschool.

PSCH-2a - Preschool English Learner Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school assessed/evaluated preschool children to determine if they are English Learners (EL).

PSCH-2b - Preschool English Learner Indicator Identification Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school had any preschool children who were already identified as English Learners (EL) when they enrolled in the preschool.

PSCH-2c - Preschool Section 504 Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school assessed/evaluated preschool children to determine if they were disabled and eligible for services under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

PSCH-2d - Preschool Section 504 Indicator Identification Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school had any preschool children who were already identified as disabled and eligible for services under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, when they enrolled in the preschool.

PSCH-3 - Preschool Enrollment
Description: Indicates the number of children enrolled in preschool.

Description: Indicates the number of students in preschool who were English learners (EL).

PSCH-4b - Preschool Enrollment of English Learner Students – EL Students in EL Programs
Description: Indicates the number of students in preschool who were enrolled in EL programs.

PSCH-5 - Preschool Enrollment of Students with Disabilities – IDEA
Description: Indicates the number of students with disabilities served under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) who were enrolled in preschool at this school.

PSCH-6 - Preschool Enrollment of Students with Disabilities – Section 504 Only
Description: Indicates the number of students with disabilities served under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504 only) who were enrolled in preschool at the school.




ENRL: Enrollment

ENRL-1 - Student Enrollment
Description: Indicates the number of students who were enrolled in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent).

ENRL-2a - Enrollment of English Learner Students – All EL Students
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were English learners (EL).

ENRL-2b - Enrollment of English Learner Students – EL Students in EL Programs
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in EL programs.

ENRL-3 - Enrollment of Students with Disabilities Served Under IDEA
Description: Indicates the number of students with disabilities served under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) who were enrolled in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) at the school.

ENRL-4 - Enrollment of Students with Disabilities – Section 504 Only
Description: Indicates the number of students with disabilities served under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504 only) who were enrolled in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) at the school.




PENR: Gifted & Talented, Dual Enrollment, and Credit Recovery Programs

PENR-1 - Gifted and Talented Education Programs Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school had any students who were enrolled in one or more gifted and talented program(s) either in the school or another building.

PENR-2 - Gifted and Talented Student Enrollment
Description: Indicates the number of students in preschool and in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in gifted and talented programs.

PENR-3 - Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit Program Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school had any students enrolled in a dual enrollment/dual credit program (does not include the Advanced Placement (AP) program or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme).

PENR-4 - Student Enrollment in Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit Programs
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in at least one dual enrollment/dual credit program.

PENR-5 - Credit Recovery Program Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school, from the start of the school year, including summer, up to one day prior to the next school year, had any students who participated in at least one credit recovery program.

PENR-6 - Credit Recovery Program Student Participation
Description: Indicates the total number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who participated in at least one credit recovery program from the start of the school year, including summer, up to one day prior to the next school year.




COUR: Courses & Classes

COUR-1 - Grade 7/8 Algebra I Classes
Description: Indicates the number of Algebra I classes for students in grades 7-8 (or the ungraded equivalent) in this school.

COUR-2 - Grade 7 Algebra I Enrollment Indicator
Description: Indicate whether the school had any students in grade 7 (or the ungraded equivalent) enrolled in Algebra I.

COUR-3 - Grade 8 Algebra I Enrollment Indicator
Description: Indicate whether the school had any students in grade 8 (or the ungraded equivalent) enrolled in Algebra I.

COUR-4a - Student Enrollment in Algebra I – Grades 7 & 8
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 7-8 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Algebra I.

COUR-4b - Students who Passed Algebra I – Grades 7 & 8
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 7-8 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were reported as enrolled in Algebra I in COUR-4a, who successfully completed (i.e., passed) Algebra I by the end of the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

COUR-5 - Grade 8 Geometry Enrollment Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school had any students in grade 8 (or the ungraded equivalent) enrolled in Geometry.

COUR-6 - Student Enrollment in Geometry in Grade 8
Description: Indicates the number of students in grade 8 (or the ungraded equivalent) enrolled in Geometry.

COUR-7 - Classes in Mathematics Courses in High School
Description: Indicates the number of classes for students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were in the school for each mathematics course.

COUR-8a - High School Student Enrollment in Algebra I – Grades 9 & 10
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-10 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Algebra I.

COUR-8b - High School Students who Passed Algebra I – Grades 9 & 10
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-10 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were reported as enrolled in Algebra I in COUR-8a, who successfully completed (i.e., passed) Algebra I by the end of the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

COUR-9a - High School Student Enrollment in Algebra I – Grades 11 & 12
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 11-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Algebra I.

COUR-9b - High School Students who Passed Algebra I – Grades 11 & 12led in Advanced Mathematics
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 11-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were reported as enrolled in Algebra I in COUR-9a, who successfully completed (i.e., passed) Algebra I by the end of the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

COUR-10 - Student Enrollment in Mathematics Courses in High School – Geometry
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Geometry.

COUR-11 - Student Enrollment in Mathematics Courses in High School – Algebra II Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Algebra II.

COUR-12 - Student Enrollment in Mathematics Courses in High School – Advanced Mathematics
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in advanced mathematics.

COUR-13 - Student Enrollment in Mathematics Courses in High School – Calculus
Description: Indicates enter the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Calculus.

COUR-14 - Classes in Science Courses
Description: Indicates the number of classes for students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) in the school for each science course (Biology, Chemistry or Physics).

COUR-15 - Student Enrollment in Science Courses – Biology
Description: Indicates enter the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Biology.

COUR-16 - Student Enrollment in Science Courses – Chemistry
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Chemistry.

COUR-17 - Student Enrollment in Science Courses – Physics
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Physics.

COUR-18 - Classes in Computer Science Courses
Description: Indicates the number of classes for students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) in the school for the computer science courses.

COUR-19 - Student Enrollment in Computer Science Courses
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in at least one computer science course.

COUR-20 - Classes in Data Science Courses
Description: Indicates the number of classes for students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) in the school for the data science courses.

COUR-21 - Student Enrollment in Data Science Courses
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in at least one data science course.

COUR-22 - Single-Sex Academic Classes Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school had any students enrolled in one or more single-sex academic classes.

COUR-23 - Single-Sex Academic Classes Detail
Description: Indicates the number of single-sex academic classes in each course or subject area that had one or more students in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) enrolled.




APIB: Advanced Placement (AP) & International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) Enrollment

APIB-1 - International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
Description: Indicates whether the school had any students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

APIB-2 - Student Enrollment in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

APIB-3 - Advanced Placement (AP) Program Indicator
Description: Indicates whether school had any students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

APIB-4 - Different Advanced Placement (AP) Courses
Description: Indicates the number of different Advanced Placement (AP) courses that were offered at this school.

APIB-5 - Advanced Placement (AP) Course Self-Selection
Description: Indicates if there were students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) allowed to enroll in all Advanced Placement (AP) courses offered at the school via self-selection.

APIB-6 - Advanced Placement (AP) Student Enrollment
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were enrolled in one or more AP courses.
