❏ Modified the Extracts below with the following updates for the RFT Mid-Point Check-In:

Extracts: Attendance 1 and 2, Course Completion, Discipline, Flexible Attendance, Restraint and Special Education

  • Remove all Crisis Codes from extracting - 1, 8 and 9 series
  • Remove all edits pertaining to 2021 Crisis Codes
  • Add General Ed Homebound indicator for all grade levels


❏ Modified the Special Education Extract to include students with ADA Elig Cd '0' and Residential Facility Indicator of '1'.

❏ Modified the program for the 2022 Summer Student Program Interchange to revise elements in the StudentProgramExtension:

  • The DISPLACED-HOMEMAKER-CODE (E1039) (TX-DisplacedHomemakerCode) has been revised to OUT-OF-WORKFORCE-INDIVIDUAL (TX-OutOfWorkforceIndividual)
  • The SGL-PARENT-PREG-TEEN-CODE (E0829) (TX-SingleParentPregTeenCode) has been revised to SGL-PARENT-SGL-PREG-WOMAN-CODE (TX-SingleParentSinglePregnantWomanCode)


❏ Modified the program for the 2022 Summer Education Organization Interchange with the following:

Deleted the following data elements from the complex type and from TEDS and removed the data elements from the PEIMS Summer and Extended Year submissions:

  • ELO-RIGOROUS-COURSEWORK-INDICATOR-CODE (E1615) (TX-ELORigorousCourseworkIndicator)
  • ELO-MENTORING-INDICATOR-CODE (E1616) (TX-ELOMentoringIndicator)

Moved the existing element ELO-MINUTES-SCHEDULED-PER-DAY (E1621) (TX-ELOMinutesScheduledPerDay) from the sub-complex type TX-SchoolELOType to the sub-complex type TX-SchoolELOActivity for the PEIMS Summer and Extended Year submissions.

Added data elements to the Complex Type: School Extension for the PEIMS Summer submission:

  • NUMBER-OF-BULLYING-INCIDENTS (E1727) (TX-NumberOfBullyingIncidents)
  • NUMBER-OF-CYBERBULLYING-INCIDENTS (E1728) (TX-NumberOfCyberbullyingIncidents)

NOTE: For the Residential Facility Tracker (RFT) mid-point check-in, due to TEA Dec 3, these values will default to 00000.


❏ Modified the program for the 2022 Summer Student Extension Interchange to add data element GENERAL-EDUCATION-HOMEBOUND-INDICATOR (E1730) (TX-GeneralEducationHomeboundIndicator).

❏ Modified the program to remove Complex Types that were causing the Core Collection Residential Facility Tracker Student Parent Interchange to fail the Validator Tool.
