ASCENDER Portals

❏ Modified ASCENDER portals to now require special character(s) in addition to uppercase, lower case and number character(s) when creating a password.

  • Not allowed: [space] ! ? * & ^
  • Allowed: “ # $ % ' ( ) + , - . / : ; < = > @ [ \ ] _ ` { | } ~

NOTE: Existing passwords will not be forced to change as part of this release, even if existing passwords do not meet the new requirements. The updated password rules will be enforced the next time a user changes their password.

Attendance > Reports > Attendance Reports > Audit > SAT0600 - Student Detail Report

❏ Updated the report for sy 2026 and beyond to add new BIL/ESL funding codes to the Early Ed Lang Elig Days and Early Ed Eco Dis & Lang Elig Days.


❏ Updated the SAT5100 - Flexible Attendance Student Detail Report for sy 2026 and beyond with the following TEA changes:

  • Insert Elig Equiv Days Column between Elig Mins and Inelig Mins columns
  • Insert Inelgi Equiv Days after Inelig Mins
  • Calculate Elig Equiv Days as Elig Minutes / 240 for program type codes 1,3,6 and Elig Minutes / 360 for program type code 2
  • Calculate Inelig Equiv Days as Inelig Minutes / 240 for program type codes 1,3,6 and Inelig Minutes / 360 for program type code 2
  • Move Excess Mins after Inelig Equiv Days
  • If Elig Equiv Days is greater than Days Taught, place an asterisk ''* to the right of the Elig Equiv Days
  • When asterisk is placed, also add a footnote: *Eligible Equivalent Days is greater than Number of Days Taught. LEAs cannot be funded for more than Number of Days Taught in each reporting period.

❏ Modified the Staff Section extract to correctly write records when there are different instructors for each semester.

❏ Updated the program to allow users to add an ADSY Local Program for students up to 8th grade.

❏ Modified the page message to Local Programs: - Local Programs for TEA - Row 1: Additional Days School Year program is not allowed for grade levels 09-12.

Registration > Reports > Registration Reports > Withdrawal > SRG0900 - Withdrawal Transfer Form

❏ Corrected the issue with the report that prevented Immunization records from printing on some pages.

❏ Updated the Home Language Survey with the following changes:

  • Removed reference to 2019-2020
  • Added question 3. If the child had a previous home setting, which languages were used? If there was no previous home setting, answer Not Applicable (N/A).



❏ Updated the Family Survey with the following changes:

  • Added question 3. Please list all children who reside in the home who are under the age of 22 and not enrolled in school.
