Generate the following report in the applicable school year’s data to verify the Leaver data.
SRG7001 - Leaver Report
IMPORTANT: Leavers are reported in the Extended Year Submission based on the ExitWithdrawType (Reason) in the applicable school year.
For students marked as No Show in the new school year who do not enroll by the end of the Start Window, update the prior school year record with the leaver code.
If the leaver code is only updated in the new school year, it will not be included in the Extended Year Submission.
Use the following screens in the applicable school year’s data to add and update the student's records.
Registration > Utilities > No-Show Leaver Withdrawal (Prior Year)
xxxx
NOTE: Leavers are reported in the Extended Year Submission based on the ExitWithdrawType (Reason) on the W/R Enroll tab in the applicable school year's data.
Regular year-end graduates: Beginning with the 2025–2026 reporting year, graduating students must have an Exit Date and an ExitWithdrawType (Reason) of 01 – Graduated reported in the current school year's enrollment record. Use the Assign or Clear Year-End Status utility to mass populate this information for graduating students.
No-show students: Students identified as No Show (44) who do not enroll by the end of the School Start Window must have their Exit Date and ExitWithdrawType (Reason) recorded in the prior school year's enrollment record. Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, districts can use Registration > Utilities > No-Show Leaver Withdrawal (Prior Year) to update these records. Prior to this enhancement, districts must manually update the prior-year enrollment record.
Updating the withdrawal information only in the current school year will not report the correct leaver information in the Extended Year Submission.
The system allows users to enter an Exit Date after the last day of school when reporting leaver information for the prior school year.
