CTE contact hours must not be claimed when a student receiving CTE services is placed in a disciplinary setting (for example, in-school suspension or DAEP) for more than five consecutive days if the same amount and type of CTE services are not provided by a CTE teacher.

Use the SDS1800 - Career Tech Students in Discipline Setting report to identify CTE students who were placed in a disciplinary setting.

Discipline > Reports > Discipline > SDS1800 - Career Tech Students in Discipline Setting

  • A row is added to the grid that displays the default entry date, which is the same as the withdrawal date. This ensures that you do not lose any membership days by typing the incorrect entry date for the status change.
  • The fields below the grid are enabled. The fields display the data from the previous row by default.

❏ Modify any information that changed for the entry date.

❏ Click Save to save the status change.

Bil/ESL Funding must not be claimed when a bilingual/ESL student is placed in a disciplinary setting (for example, in-school suspension or DAEP) for more than five consecutive days if the same amount and type of bilingual or ESL program services are not provided by a bilingual or ESL program teacher. Students not receiving the same amount and type of bilingual or ESL program services by a bilingual or ESL program teacher for five or more days while in a disciplinary setting must be withdrawn from the program during that time.

Use the SDS0300 - Bil/ESL Students in Discipline Settings report to identify bilingual/ESL students who were placed in a disciplinary setting.
