EXAM: SAT/ACT

EXAM-1 - Student Participation in the SAT Reasoning Test or ACT
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who participated in (i.e., took) the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT), the ACT, or both from the start of the school year, including summer, up to one day prior to the new school year.

STAF: School & School Support Staff

STAF-1 - Teachers - FTE Count and Certification
Description: Indicates the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) teachers in preschool and grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) overall and by their certification status for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

STAF-2 - Teacher Certification in Specialized Areas
Description: Indicates the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) teachers in preschool and grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who are certified/licensed/endorsed in the specified areas for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

STAF-3 - Teacher Years of Experience
Description: Indicates the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) teachers in preschool and grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were in their first year and second year of teaching for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

STAF-4 - Teacher Absenteeism
Description: Indicates the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) teachers who were absent for more than 10 school days for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

STAF-5a - Current Year Teachers Count
Description: Indicates the number of teachers in preschool and grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were employed at the school for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

STAF-5b - Teacher Retention Count
Description: Indicates the number of teachers in preschool and grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were employed at the school during both the regular 2023-2024 school year and the previous regular school year.

STAF-6 - School Counselors Number FTE
Description: Indicates the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) school counselors in preschool and grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

STAF-7 - Support Services Staff Number FTE
Description: Indicates the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) support services staff (including nurses, psychologists, and social workers) in preschool and grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were employed at the school for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

SECR: School Security Staff

SECR-1 - Security Staff
Description: Indicates the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) security staff (including law enforcement officers and security guards) for preschool and grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) that were assigned, as specified for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer.

RETN: Retention

RETN-1 - Student Retention Indicator
Description: Indicates whether any students were retained at the end of the school year (not promoted to the next grade).

RETN-2 GRK: Retention of Students in Kindergarten
Description: Indicates the number of students in Kindergarten who were retained at the end of the school year (not promoted to the next grade).

RETN-2 GR1: Retention of Students in Grade 1
Description: Indicates the number of students in grade 1 who were retained at the end of the school year (not promoted to the next grade).

RETN-2 GR2: Retention of Students in Grade 2
Description: Indicates the number of students in grade 2 who were retained at the end of the school year (not promoted to the next grade).

RETN-2 GR3: Retention of Students in Grade 3
Description: Indicates the number of students in grade 3 who were retained at the end of the school year (not promoted to the next grade).

RETN-2 GR4: Retention of Students in Grade 4
Description: Indicates the number of students in grade 4 who were retained at the end of the school year (not promoted to the next grade).

RETN-2 GR5: Retention of Students in Grade 5
Description: Indicates the number of students in grade 5 who were retained at the end of the school year (not promoted to the next grade).

RETN-2 GR6: Retention of Students in Grade 6
Description: Indicates the number of students in grade 6 who were retained at the end of the school year (not promoted to the next grade).

Description: Indicates students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who participated (in-person) in interscholastic athletics, beginning from the start of the school year, up to one day before the start of the next school year.

ATHL-2 - Interscholastic Athletics Sports and Teams
Description: Indicates the number of active interscholastic athletics sports and teams for students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent), and with males only, with females only, or with all students from the start of the school year, including summer, up to one day prior to the next school year.

ATHL-3 - Interscholastic Athletics Participants
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades 9-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who participated on interscholastic athletics sports teams from the start of the school year, including summer, up to one day prior to the new school year.
