DISC-1a - Preschool Discipline - EL Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school assessed/evaluated preschool children to determine if they were English Learners (EL).

DISC-1b - Preschool Discipline - EL Identification Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school had any preschool children who were already identified as English Learners (EL) when they enrolled in the preschool.

DISC-1c - Preschool Discipline - Section 504 Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school assessed/evaluated preschool children to determine if they were disabled and eligible for services under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

DISC-1d - Preschool Discipline - Section 504 Identification Indicator
Description: Indicates whether the school had any preschool children who were already identified as disabled and eligible for services under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, when they enrolled in the preschool.

DISC-2 - Preschool Corporal Punishment Indicator
Description: Indicate if, during the regular school year, not including intersession or summer, the school used corporal punishment to discipline preschool children, regardless of whether there was a law, statute, regulation, rule, guidance, and/or policy that prohibited its use.

DISC-3 - Instances of Preschool Corporal Punishment - Children Without Disabilities and With Disabilities (IDEA and Section 504 Only)
Description: Indicates the number of instances of corporal punishment for preschool children without disabilities and for preschool children with disabilities (IDEA and Section 504 only) for the regular 2023–2024 school year, not including intersession or summer.

DISC-4 - Preschool Corporal Punishment
Description: Indicates the number of preschool children who received corporal punishment.

DISC-5 - Preschool Expulsion
Description: Indicates the number of preschool children who received an expulsion.

DISC-6 - Instances of Preschool Suspension
Description: Indicates the number of instances of out-of-school suspension for preschool children without disabilities, for preschool children with disabilities (IDEA), and for preschool children with disabilities (Section 504 only).

DISC-7 - Preschool Suspension - Only One Out-of-School Suspension
Description: Indicates the number of preschool children who received only one preschool out-of-school suspension.

DISC-8 - Preschool Suspension - More Than One Out-of-School Suspension
Description: Indicates the number of preschool children who received more than one preschool out-of-school suspension.

DISC-9 - Corporal Punishment Indicator
Description: Indicates if, during the regular school year, not including intersession or summer, the school used corporal punishment to discipline students in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent), regardless of whether there was a law, statute, regulation, rule, guidance, and/or policy that prohibited its use.

DISC-10 - Instances of Corporal Punishment - Students Without Disabilities and With Disabilities (IDA and Section 504 Only)
Description: Indicates the number of instances of corporal punishment for students without disabilities in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) and the number of instances of corporal punishment for students with disabilities (IDEA and Section 504 only).

Description: Indicates the number of students without disabilities in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who received corporal punishment.

DISC-12 - Discipline of Students with Disabilities - Corporal Punishment
Description: Indicates the number of students with disabilities in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) by IDEA, EL or Section 504 status as specified, who received corporal punishment.

DISC-13a - Discipline of Students without Disabilities - Expulsion with Educational Services
Description: Indicates for the regular school year, not including intersession or summer, the number of students without disabilities in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who received an expulsion with educational services.

DISC-13b - Discipline of Students without Disabilities - Transfer to Alternative School
Description: Indicates for the regular 2023–24 school year, not including intersession or summer, the number of students without disabilities in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who were transferred to an alternative school for disciplinary reasons.

Description: Indicates the number of students with disabilities in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) by IDEA, EL or Section 504 status as specified, who received an expulsion with educational services.

HIBS-3 - Students Reported as Harassed or Bullied – Sex
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who reported being harassed or bullied on the basis of sex to any school employees.

HIBS-4 - Students Reported as Harassed or Bullied – Race, Color, or National Origin
Description: Indicates the number of students in grades K-12 (or the ungraded equivalent) who reported being harassed or bullied on the basis of race, color, or national origin to any school employees.

HIBS-5 - Students Reported as Harassed or Bullied – Disability
