Special Ed/Student Export

Registration > Utilities > Special Ed/Student Export

This utility exports TxEIS data to comma-delimited text files that can be imported into eSped, eChild, and other third-party special education software.

Export data:

FieldDescription
Select Export Type

Select one:

Special Ed Export

Select to extract students who have special education records in the current year even if they are withdrawn from special education or from the campus.

Student Export

Select to extract all students in the current year even if they are withdrawn. No Show students are not extracted.

Click Run.

  • When completed, a pop-up message displays the number of records processed and written to the export file. Click OK.
  • The export file name is displayed.
    • The default filename for the special ed export file is TxEISSpecEd_CCCDDD.txt where CCCDDD is the county-district number).
    • The default filename for the Student Export is TXEISStudent.txt.
