Manually enter flexible attendance data for the Optional Flexible School Day Program (OFSDP) Credit/Promotion Recovery Program as needed.

❏ ATTENDANCE-EVENT-INDICATOR (E1085) is the attendance event type (i.e., Regular, Bilingual, CTE, ESL, PRS, Special Ed, Flexible-Regular, Flexible-Bilingual, Flexible-CTE, Flexible-ESL, Flexible-PRS, Flexible-Special Ed). This is hard coded in the program according to the code table C188.

The following fields are displayed on all three Flex Att tabs:

❏ CAMPUS-ID-OF-ENROLLMENT Campus (E0782) is the main campus where the student is enrolled. For example, if a high school student took a recovery course at the middle school, this record should reflect the high school because that is the campus where he was enrolled.

❏ GRADE-LEVEL-CODE Grade (E0017) is the student’s current year grade level.

❏ INSTRUCTIONAL-TRACK-INDICATOR-CODE Track (E0975) is the student’s instructional track (i.e., instructional calendar).

❏ REPORTING-PERIOD-INDICATOR-CODE Report Period (E0934) indicates the period for which the attendance data is being reported. For Submission 4, only codes 7 and 8 are allowed.

❏ For Submission 4, FLEXIBLE-ATTENDANCE-PROGRAM-TYPE-CODE Flexible Attendance Program (E1045) must be set to 3-OFSDP Credit Recovery Program.

❏ For Submission 4, NUMBER-DAYS-TAUGHT Days Taught (E0935) must be reported as 30 days.

Manually add data for the SpecialProgramsReportingPeriodAttendanceExtension complex type as needed.

❏ FLEX-ATTEND-TOTAL-ELIGIBLE-MINUTES-PRESENT Eligible Minutes Present (E1046) is the total number of minutes the student was present and eligible for Foundation School Program funding during the reporting period. Report minutes in whole numbers only, rounded down to the nearest minute. The minimum is 45 minutes per reporting period.

❏ FLEX-ATTEND-TOTAL-INELIGIBLE-MINUTES-PRESENT Ineligible Minutes Present (E1047) is the total number of minutes the student was present but ineligible for Foundation School Program funding during a particular reporting period. Report minutes in whole numbers only, rounded down to the nearest minute. The minimum is 45 minutes per reporting period.

❏ FLEX-ATTEND-TOTAL-PRS-DAYS-ELIGIBLE PRS Days (E1048) is the total number of school days a female student was eligible for compensatory education home instruction (CEHI) services and/or pregnancy-related services (PRS) during the reporting period.

❏ FLEX-ATTEND-TOTAL-SP-ED-MAINSTREAM-DAYS-ELIGIBLE Special Ed Days (E1049) is the total number of school days a student with a special education individualized education program (IEP), which provided for the mainstream instructional arrangement/setting (Instr Set = 40), was eligible for the instructional arrangement/ setting during the reporting period.

❏ FLEX-ATTEND-TOTAL-BILINGUAL/ESL-DAYS-ELIGIBLE Bilingual ESL Days (E1050) is the total number of school days the student was eligible to participate in the state-approved bilingual/ESL program during the reporting period.

❏ GIFTED-TALENTED-INDICATOR-CODE G/T (E0034) indicates if the student participated in a state-approved gifted and talented program during the reporting period.

❏ PRIMARY-DISABILITY-CODE Primary Disability (E0041) indicates the type of primary disability recorded in the student’s IEP for the reporting period.

❏ MULTIPLY-DISABLED-INDICATOR-CODE Multiply Disabled (E0882) indicates if the student was designated as multiply disabled during the reporting period.

❏ LEP-INDICATOR-CODE LEP (E0790) indicates if the student was identified as limited English proficient during the reporting period.

❏ LOCAL-STUDENT-ID Local ID (E0923) is the student’s local identification number as assigned by the district. The LOCAL-STUDENT-ID is optional.

Manually add data for the SpecialProgramsReportingPeriodAttendanceExtension complex type as needed for special education students.

❏ INSTRUCTIONAL-SETTING-CODE Instruct Setting (E0173) identifies the setting used to provide instruction to student.

❏ FLEX-ATTEND-DAYS-ELIGIBLE-IN-INSTR-SETTING Eligible Days (E1051) is the total number of school days the student was eligible for a particular special education instructional setting that was eligible for Foundation School Program funding during the reporting period.

❏ FLEX-ATTEND-EXCESS-MINUTES-IN-INSTR-SETTING Excess Minutes (E1052) is the total number of minutes the student was present in the instructional setting above the allowable 360-minute daily limit of combined CTE and special education and related services during the reporting period.

If the student was provided instruction in more than one instructional setting, add data for the additional instructional settings.

Manually add data for the SpecialProgramsReportingPeriodAttendanceExtension complex type as needed for CTE students.

❏ FLEX-ATTEND-TOTAL-CAREER-TECH-MINUTES-PRESENT CTE Minutes Present (E1053) is the total number of minutes the student was present, eligible, and enrolled in an approved CTE course during a particular reporting period.
