❏ Updated the Special Education Program Reporting Period Attendance extract to correctly send Delete records when instructional setting changes to mainstream.

❏ Modified the TSDS Days Employed set to correctly update if the number of days employed is changed after a non-employee has terminated. Also, updated Personnel to correctly update these changes for employees.

❏ Corrected the issue with the extract that caused student records to only extract the re-enrolled record when they are enrolled in a special ed program.

Corrected the program to properly handle end date updates to the TSDS Days Employed Set during the scheduled 6pm Employment Days processing when the option to Extract for TSDS is selected for terminated employees or non-employees with ended contracts:

• If the record being updated has no changes to the Percent Day Employed or TSDS # Days Employed, only the End Date will be updated will be with the computer date. A new record will not be inserted.
• If changes are made to the Percent Day Employed or TSDS # Days Employed, the End Date on the original record is updated, a new record is inserted (begin/end dates are computer dates), and the new Percent Day Employed and TSDS # Days Employed is populated. (difference from before end date is now also populated because termed emp).

Note: These changes are also effective for the Personnel > Maintenance > Employment Info tab.

❏ EXCHANGE CLIENTS ONLY: Added the Student Grade domain to the TSDS Level 1 Errors Report.

❏ Corrected the issue that caused orphan Paraprofessional Certification and TIA Allotment records. Also, corrected -6 errors and duplicate staff record issues in the staging table that prevented staff records from being extracted and caused “Staff not found” errors for staff members with multiple Paraprofessional Certification or TIA Allotment entries.

❏ Corrected the issue that prevented the staging table from capturing PK Teacher Requirement changes made to the Personnel > Maintenance > Staff Demo > Credentials tab in ASCENDER.

❏ Modified the extract to correctly update the AsOfStatusLastFridayOctober code when a student is withdrawn.

❏ Updated the page to add an asterisk (*) next to options that are Data Beyond TSDS Domains/Entities.

NOTE: Asterisks and footnotes will only display for Exchange clients only.

TSDS Change Log 2026.1.1 added a new table/data element, PriorYearSSAOrgAssociationExt (C049A), to allow for the reporting of Prior Year SSA Type. This new table will be reported during the PEIMS Mid-Year (Actuals) Submission. The existing table/data element, SSAOrgAssociationExt (C049), will continue to be reported in the PEIMS Fall Submission. The following updates were made to support this change:

❏ Added new tab, District Administration > Tables > District Information > Prior Shared Services Arrangement, to report prior year SSA financial reporting during the PEIMS Mid-Year Submission.

❏ Updated the existing District Administration > Tables > District Information > Shared Services Arrangement tab to only display Shared Services Arrangements as this is the only information reported during the PEIMS Fall Submission.

❏ Added to the applicable TSDS extracts.

❏ Corrected the issue that caused the program to update the Language Instruction Program Service with the removed and now invalid Bilingual, ESL and Alternative Language Program Type Codes.

❏ Corrected the program to only display data from the year specified in the Year field. Previously, the page displayed prior year data.

❏ Added the TRA Years Experience section with the following fields to align with TSDS Web-Enabled Data Standards:

• TRA Teaching Experience (YearsTRATeachingExperience (E3129)) - Indicates the number of verifiable years of teaching experience as a classroom teacher as described in TEC §48.158.
• TRA Eligibility (LEADeterminedTRAEligibility (E3130)) - Indicates the local education agency (LEA) has determined the teacher (StaffClassification is 087) is employed by a school system and teaches not less than an average of four hours each day, in an academic instructional setting or a career and technology educational setting.

❏ Modified the program so that when changes are made to the following key fields in a responsibility record, the original record is deleted and a new record is inserted to reflect the change. This will assist the with data management required for TSDS staging tables.

❏ Added the following fields to the 2026 Staff extract and view to align with TSDS Web-Enabled Data Standards:

❏ Added the AdultPreviousAttendanceSet Common Type to the StudentEducationOrganizationAssociation Entity.
This will no longer be reported as a Student Characteristic.

❏ Previously, due to TEA’s removal of certain Descriptor values and the Exchange requiring time to align with the new SDK, the following processes were temporarily disabled. Now that the Exchange has completed its updates and is ready to receive data again, the following processes have been re-enabled:

• Domains and Entities page (2025 and 2026 submission years)
• Move to Exchange and Reset Exchange Credentials buttons
• Nightly TSDS extracts and API submissions
• Weekend TSDS API submissions

❏ Due to TEA’s removal of certain Descriptor values and the Exchange requiring time to align with the new SDK, the following are temporarily disabled:

❏ Corrected the program error that occurred when running the report. Also, corrected the issue where the user directory appeared blank after clicking the ellipsis button. Additionally, a message is now displayed if no accounts are assigned to the user’s profile for the selected applications.

❏ Corrected an issue that was preventing the entity from extracting correctly.

❏ Disabled the automatic nightly TSDS Extract/Send process for prior school years effective the day after the fourth Thursday in August. To generate or send data for a prior school year, use the District Administration > Options > TSDS > Domains & Entities tab.

Note: Users with security access to District Administration > Options > TSDS will see a notification in ASCENDER News on the Homepage starting 30 days before the process ends.

❏ Removed email validation from the page, allowing users to choose whether or not to provide an email address to receive TSDS reports via email.

Note: If no email address is provided under Personnel/Payroll Extract Distribution List, reports for employees with more than 365 days employed or with zero days employed will not be emailed. However, this information will now be included in the TSDS Extract Errors Report (Extract Errors Reprint button) on the TSDS Level 1 Errors page.

❏ Enabled the page for school years 2025 and 2026.

❏ Disabled the checkbox for Student Academic Record Domain (for 2026 only).

❏ Modified the page to move the Prior Year Leaver Domain and Student Application Domain to the Second Level Submission section effective school year 2026.

❏ Modified the School Year drop-down menu to show the latest available school year as the first option and ALL as the last option.

❏ Updated the TSDS Extract Errors Report (Extract Errors Reprint button) to include employees who are reported with more than 365 days employed or with zero days employed. This change is helpful for those users who have opted out of receiving TSDS emails by not providing an email address on the District Administration > Options > TSDS > Options tab.

❏ Modified the extract to calculate NumberCharterStudentsEnrolled as of the last Friday in September.
