Transcript Exchange Export

❏ Add logic to the extract to only pull in high school level courses, if specified.

For example:
java -jar .\registrationBatch.jar -Xdebug –username=dba –password=sql –server.ip=localhost –server.port=xxxxx –server.name=DBxxxxxx –exportType=Transcript –schoolYear=2022 –campusID=001 –activeCd=1 –rbFilter=All. where exportType=Transcript exports only high school level courses.

NOTE: The temp folder (C:\Users\vendor\TRex\temp) should be cleaned (i.e. all files deleted) prior to running the trexrun.bat.


❏ Updated the following applications so the navigation menu remains collapsed until the user permanently opens the navigation menu by using the “hamburger” (three horizontal lines) icon:

  • Attendance
  • Discipline
  • Grade Reporting*
  • Graduation Plan
  • Health
  • OCR
  • Registration
  • Scheduling
  • Special Education
  • State Reporting
  • Test Scores

*The Grade Reporting application is experiencing a flashing issue when navigating from tab to tab and the user elects to have the left navigation menu collapsed. This is an known issue and it will be corrected in a future release.


Attendance > Maintenance > Student > Student Posting > By Individual

❏ Modified the program to correctly display courses in which a student was enrolled on an absence date.


Attendance > Maintenance > Letters > Update > Letter

❏ Corrected logic in the program so {nbr_tardies} will display correctly when Absence Type on the Letter Criteria tab is set to Tardy.


Attendance > Maintenance > Addtnl Days Program > ADSY Options

❏ Modified programming to remove date validation enabling the user to enter any date throughout the year as an ADSY program day.

- ADSY days can be on any day throughout the year as long as the day remains non-compulsory and does not take place on a required instructional day.

- ADSY days can be held during the summer prior to or before a school year (May - August), on designated intersessional days throughout the year, or on weekends.

❏ Modified the SAT5500 - Attendance Zones Street Detail Report so the error message produced will indicate From Street Name must be less than To Street Name.

❏ A Cyber column was added to the following reports:

  • SDS0265 - Discipline Victim Bully Harass Report
  • SDS0800 - Offense Summary Report

Grade Reporting > Utilities > Grade Posting from ASCENDER TeacherPortal

❏ Modified the program to correctly pull in and post semester grades from TeacherPortal for campuses using Standards-Based grading.


Health > Maintenance > Nurse's Daily Log > New

❏ Corrected an issue in the program so that information entered in the Time In and Time Out fields displays correctly when information is entered in the Stu ID# field.


Registration > Maintenance > District Profile > Attendance Zones > CY Attendance Zone

❏ Modified the program to increase the size of the surround box so that the Date Capped field is not cut off.


❏ Modified the program so the user will get a warning message before deleting the last campus in an Attendance Zone segment giving them warning that they will be deleting the segment since there are no campuses associated with the segment anymore.

❏ Modified the program so that student SPPI-14 records for prior year leavers that are created during Annual Student Data Rollover utilize the student's Mailing Address instead of the Physical Address. If the Mailing Address is not available, the program will utilize the Physical Address.

❏ Modified the program to add indicators for Child Find: SPPI-11 and Child Find: SPPI-12 to the Demographic Information section. Enrolled students that can be marked Child Find SPPI-11 are between the ages of 3-21 years old as of September 1st. Enrolled students that can be marked Child Find SPPI-12 are between the ages of 0-3 (3 non inclusive) as of the Fall Snapshot date.

❏ Corrected an issue in the program when the priority 1 Contact is marked for deletion in ParentPortal Registration, that the priorities will renumber (priority 2 becomes priority 1) when accepting Contact changes on the Pending Updates page on Registration > Maintenance > Online Registration > Pending Updates.

❏ Modified programming to perform date validation for Entry Date and Exit Date using the ADSY Calendar and Track when the selected Local Program is ADP: Additional Days Program.

❏ Modified the program to prevent duplicate Student IDs from being created and to decrease runtime when auto-assigning new Student IDs.

❏ Modified DBA Assistant > Utilities > Update Database to update any blank values for gen_ed_hmbound and parent_request_retention to 0.

❏ Modified the program to add Core Collections to the menu.

❏ Modified the program to update the utility export fields with the following changes:

  • Changed School ID to display 9 characters = 6-digit County District number + 3-digit campus
  • Changed Test Date field format to MM/DD/YYYY
  • Removed Student DOB field

The export produced by this utility follows the format of Physical Fitness Assessment Program (PFAI) as provided by TEA. The file is submitted through TEAL. In a future release, the name FitnessGram Export will be renamed PFAI Export.
