6. Under Miscellaneous, add data in the following fields:

● In the Primary Language field click elipsis button to select the primary language spoken by the student. The code is not reported to PEIMS. If the field is blank, the value in the Default Home Language Cd field on the Maintenance > District Profile > District Information > Control Info tab is used on the reports that use the field.

● In the Immig Tracking field, type the code indicating the number of years the student has been eligible to receive services through the Emergency Immigrant Education Act, if applicable. The field is two digits.

● In the Headstart Code field, type or click drop-down arrow to select the code indicating if the student is eligible for and participates in the Headstart program.

● Select Medicaid Eligible if the student is eligible for Medicaid.

Note: The student's Medicaid eligibility can also be updated on the Maintenance > Student Sp Ed Data > Current Year > Program Information tab in the Special Education application. Additionally, the data is displayed on the Maintenance > Student Health > Demo tab in the Health application.

● Select Alien Tuition Cd if the student pays tuition because of his alien status.

● Select Parent Federal Connected if either of the student’s parents is federally connected.
