Error message text begins with “WARNING”. These are informational messages which may or may not require any action. In most cases data is extracted to PEIMS. |

Fatal |
Error message text begins with “FATAL”. Data is not extracted to PEIMS. All FATAL errors should be investigated and resolved. |
Database |
Error message text begins with “Error”. These messages usually occur when there has been an unsuccessful attempt to update the database. |
Reading the Messages:
Text in italic type is replaced by a value. Text enclosed in [ ] is a list of several options separated by forward slashes. One of these options will appear in the error message.
Example: Message: Error [updating/inserting] [ATT/CATE ATT/DEMO] record for SSN SSN This would appear as: “Error updating ATT record for SSN 123456789” on an error report.
