If you are using TSDS, the Create TSDS Interchanges utility creates the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) Interchanges from the data in the TSDS tables. You can create all of the interchanges at once, or you can individually select the interchange you wish to create. You must submit the created interchanges to TSDS in the following order:

  1. InterchangeEducationOrganizationExtension
  2. InterchangeEducationOrgCalendarExtension
  3. InterchangeMasterScheduleExtension
  4. InterchangeStudentExtension
  5. InterchangeStudentEnrollmentExtension
  6. InterchangeStaffAssociationExtension
  7. InterchangeStudentAttendanceExtension
  8. InterchangeStudentDisciplineExtension
  9. InterchangeStudentTranscriptExtension
  10. InterchangeStudentProgramExtension
  11. InterchangeStudentRestraintEventExtension

State Reporting > Utilities > Create TSDS Interchanges

1. In the Collection field, select Sumr1 - First Submission. If you are resubmitting summer data, select Sumr2. 2. The Ending School Year field displays the submission year set up on TSDS > Options (i.e., 2017). 3. See online Help for additional information. 4. Click Run. When the process is complete, a message is displayed at the bottom of the page indicating that the TSDS Interchanges process is complete. The completed interchanges will be accessible in a zipped folder in your computer’s Downloads folder or your selected location. The default name of the zipped folder is District_YYYY-MM-DD.HH-MM-SS.TSDS.
