Once Phase I of scheduling preparation is complete, follow these steps to complete Phase II of the scheduling preparation process at secondary campuses, which includes creating course-sections in the next year master schedule.
There are three options for creating course-sections. Follow the steps according to the method used at your campus.

These steps can be used for elementary campuses; however, it is recommended that you use the steps described in the Complete Scheduling for Elementary Campuses guide.
All Phase I steps of the scheduling preparation process must be completed for secondary campuses before you continue.
Options 1 and 2: Manual Entry or Combination
If you are using Option 1 or 2, there are two ways to manually create sections:
Manually add section records in the campus master schedule.
Copy existing course-sections.
Option 3: Automated
If using software tools for creating your campus master schedule, you have two options:
Option 1: Master Schedule Generator
Option 2: Master Schedule Algorithm (MSALGO)
Run Reports
When Phases I and II of the scheduling preparation process are completed, continue to Phase III to schedule students.
