Teacher Guide to ASCENDER TeacherPortal


TeacherPortal Setup

Beginning of the school year:

Create course groups.

Create assignment categories.



During the school year:

Create seating charts.

Copy seating charts to another semester.

Arrange student order.

Combine courses in attendance.

Set a default due date for assignments.

Manage course notes.

Add teacher notes such as conference periods and general information.

Create rubrics for grading assignments (if enabled for campus).



Reports

Generate Seating Chart report.

Generate Rubric report (if enabled for campus).
