TxEIS Scheduling - Complete Scheduling for Elementary Campuses (Before MTGR)

The following steps are for elementary campuses that manually create the campus master schedule (section and meeting times) and manually schedule students into course-sections.

IMPORTANT: The steps you follow depend on whether or not Move to Grade Reporting (MTGR) has been completed.

If the district has not yet run MTGR, follow the steps below which are completed in the Scheduling application.

If the district already run MTGR, follow the steps as described on TxEIS Grade Reporting - Complete Scheduling for Elementary Campuses (After MTGR) which are completed in the Grade Reporting application.

  1. Set district-level scheduling options.
  2. For each campus, set campus-level scheduling options.
  3. For each campus, delete campus scheduling data from last year.
  4. Delete district scheduling data from last year.
  5. Create next year district courses.
  6. Create next year campus courses.
  7. Transfer students to the next year campus (students who are in the highest grade level at their current campus).
  8. Add and update instructor records for those who will be teaching next year, and delete those will be leaving.
  9. Create section records.
  10. Create next year control proxy courses.
  11. Assign control numbers to students by grade level.
  12. Schedule students by control number.
  13. Adjust schedules for individual students as needed.
